One of my favorite memories as a kid was going to Dairy Queen and getting a chocolate dipped ice cream cone.
When I was a teenager I found that they actually sold some magic shell sauce to have it at home, and of course, I did!
Then I got into real food and decided not to have high fructose corn syrup or soy products in my house. But now, I’ve discovered how easy it is to make my magic shell with 2 simple ingredients!
And now, this is a family favorite!
Homemade Magic Shell
- 2 oz chocolate or 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- Heat oil and chocolate chips in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- When completely melted, pour over ice cream.
- Serve immediately.
